Sandy Campanella has been actively involved in fitness and dance ever since she could walk. At the age of three she began studying Flamenco and Folkloric dance. At the age of 18 her interest in fitness blossomed, and she began teaching aerobic classes at a fitness center in her hometown of San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from high school, she moved to California to attend California Institute of the Arts (Cal Arts) and earned her BFA degree in dance.
Over the last twenty years, Sandy has worked as a dancer, personal trainer, group-fitness instructor at Bally’s and Cardio Barre, and has run the Los Angeles Marathon. Sandy feels that her greatest accomplishments are raising her three children and her 17-year marriage to her husband. She believes that fitness is a way of life and should be fun. She loves teaching and being a part of each student’s commitment to be fit!
